Overview

PulseDev is a desktop application that connects to cloud AI providers (Claude, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini) to power code fixes. Your privacy is fundamental to how we build our product. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Code Snippets Sent to AI

When you use PulseDev's AI features, only the specific code snippet relevant to your request is sent to the AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API). We do not send your entire codebase, repository, or any files you haven't explicitly selected.

Account Information

When you purchase a license, we collect your email address and payment information through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store credit card details directly.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. We do not share your email with third parties.

No Telemetry

PulseDev does not collect telemetry, usage analytics, crash reports, or any background data. The app does not phone home.

Website Analytics

Our marketing website uses cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies are set, no personal data is collected, and no cross-site tracking occurs. We collect only aggregate page-view counts and referrer data to understand how visitors find us.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Your source code or repository contents (beyond the snippet you explicitly send)
Browsing history or websites you visit
File system contents or directory structures
System information or device fingerprints
Usage patterns or feature analytics

Data Storage

PulseDev does not store your code or project data on our servers. Project settings and session history are stored on your device. If you uninstall PulseDev, all local data is removed.

Data Retention

Account emails and license records are retained for as long as your account is active. Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe. We do not retain AI request data — code snippets are processed by the third-party provider and not stored by PulseDev.

Third-Party Services

Anthropic (Claude Code) — processes code snippets you send for AI-powered fixes. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
OpenAI (Codex) — cloud-based coding agent for autonomous task execution. Subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.
OpenCode — open-source terminal AI assistant. Subject to OpenCode's privacy policy.
Google (Gemini) — AI coding assistant powered by Gemini models. Subject to Google's AI terms.
Stripe — processes payments and manages licenses. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.

Data Privacy

PulseDev sends only the specific code snippet relevant to your request to your configured cloud AI provider (Claude, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini). Your full codebase is never transmitted.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated email by contacting us at [email protected]. Since we store no usage data, there is nothing else to delete.

International Privacy Rights

European Users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, port, or delete your personal data. Our lawful basis for processing is contractual necessity (license fulfillment) and legitimate interest (newsletter, analytics). The data controller is Perlat Kociaj, based in the United Kingdom. California Users (CCPA)

California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect and request deletion. We do not sell personal information. Contact [email protected] to make a request.
