Every PulseDev release since the first build. The desktop app checks for updates on launch, so you are most likely on the newest one already.
Latest v0.8.5Oct 26, 2026
Small fixes and polish across the app.
The local server now runs inside the desktop app, so there is nothing else to install and nothing to keep running in a terminal.
Small fixes to the widget and the task thread, so finished work gets out of your way and the agent’s replies read on their own.
The widget now walks you through your first fix, and tells you what is happening without making you open a panel.
The app has been rebuilt around a sidebar of your projects and the local server each one runs.
The widget reads your site’s colours and adapts, and it tells you plainly when it can’t reach the app.
Every finished task now shows a rough estimate of the time it saved you, worked out from the files touched and the size of the approved diff.
When you point at an element, the widget now sends its computed styles and the page context along with the selector. Fewer round trips where the agent asks which button you meant.

}PulseDev now drives Google’s Gemini CLI, alongside Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode. It runs under your own Gemini login, same as the others.
The in-page widget now renders inside its own shadow root. Your site’s CSS can’t bend its panels, and its styles can’t leak into your layout.
A terminal inside the app, scoped to the project you have open, and a server that tells the app when it is ready instead of making it guess.
Tasks get a board, and a project can keep several agents configured at once.
The macOS app, the local annotation server and the embeddable widget.
The app looks for a new build on launch and shows a banner when one is ready. Restart to apply it. Projects, tasks and diffs stay in ~/PulseDev.
